German U-Boat

U-Boat Marches or Kriegsmarine Marches for those who enjoy them will transport you back to the era of the Second World War. These were the hymms and marches popularly played during ceremonies, award presentations and also probably the same tunes which U-Boat crews sang to during their training in U-Boat School.

During military hardships, when morale was low, when defeat seemed imminent - or even during great times, after a particularly successful battle, soldiers often sang rousing marches to spur them to higher levels of confidence. This has a morale boosting effect as the encouraging music helped calm anxiousness and the uncertainties of battle.

Share a moment with the music which accompanied many a soldier on the battlefront.
