German U-Boat

This is the Premium Section, featuring authentic sounds of WW2 German U-Boats. You have probably seen the inside of a German U-boat through the many photos available on the web. But now, you can also hear what it sounds like from inside one of these iron submersibles. These are actual sounds which U-boat crews heard more than half a century ago.

These are NOT Hollywood recordings, but are rare unpublished sound footage made by media staff during the war and from private collectors.

There are eight sound files altogether, recreating the atmosphere and ambience of the U-boat war. Listen to :-
